In an isolated coastal town, where everyone knows everyone, Eliza works shifts at the fish factory while her fisherman dad goes out to sea. When an apparent accident happens, rumours start spreading, and Eliza has to decide whether she fully trusts her dad.

SHOAL is a short film from 2020 starring Anna Munden as the central character Eliza, opposite Bartley Burke playing her dad. The film portrays the local community in a small fishing village and focuses on the relationship between daughter and father.
Filming took place in the town of Saint Abbs on the coast of Scotland.
The short is directed by Tammes Bernstein, produced by Jamie MacDonald and 
written by Theo Wanderydz and is a graduation film from the National Film 
and Television School (NFTS) in London, UK.
